Ayurvedic Nutrition Consults
What is an Ayurvedic Nutrition Consultation?
Our Ayurvedic nutrition consultation is a personalized session based on the ancient Indian system of Ayurveda, which focuses on balancing the body through diet and lifestyle. During the session, we will assess your unique constitution (dosha), current imbalances, digestion, lifestyle, and health concerns. Based on this evaluation, we provide tailored dietary and lifestyle recommendations to restore balance, improve digestion, and support overall well-being. The consultation may also include guidance on meal timing, food combinations, and using specific herbs or spices suited to your body type. Ayurvedic consultations last approximately for one hour, with 45-minute follow-ups.
What Is Ayurveda?
Ayurveda is a holistic system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. It is based on the idea that health and wellness depend on a balanced relationship between the body, mind, and spirit. Central to Ayurveda is the concept of the three doshas—Vata, Pitta, and Kapha—which are biological energies that govern physical and mental processes. Each person has a unique combination of these doshas, and imbalance among them can lead to illness. Ayurveda promotes balance through personalized diet, lifestyle practices, herbal remedies, yoga, and mindfulness techniques, aiming to prevent dis-ease and support the body’s natural healing abilities.
