Meghan Skiba, LPC, CRC
Hi! I’m Meghan— a licensed professional counselor and certified rehabilitation counselor. I have a deep passion for supporting others on their journey toward healing and growth. I’ve worked across a wide range of clinical settings including private practice, inpatient psychiatric care, and intensive in-home counseling for individuals and families. Each of these experiences has shaped the way I connect with clients—with compassion, respect, and a strong belief in their resilience.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Alabama and my master’s degree in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
I specialize in helping people work through trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and major life transitions. My approach is client-centered and collaborative, and I draw on evidence-based therapies like attachment-based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotionally focused therapy, and solution-focused therapy to meet each client’s unique needs. I am also trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR).
I bring authenticity, transparency, and humor into my work and believe that therapy should be a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood. My approach is holistic—I consider not just what’s going on emotionally, but how it all connects to your physical well-being, environment, relationships, and personal history.
Above all, I’m passionate about helping people build meaningful lives rooted in self-awareness, balance, and confidence. Whether you're navigating a difficult chapter or simply seeking deeper self-understanding, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
