Jada Gibson, LAPC
To the creative soul, sensitive being, the overthinker, the self-doubter, the one who’s been told to dim your light, this space is for you.
Maybe you’ve spent a lot of your life absorbing messages about who you should be and what you should do. Maybe you've been discouraged from embracing your full identity or from living life in a way that actually feels like you. Now, you’re ready to reconnect with yourself in a way that is meaningful for you and accept the whole you.
I’m here to walk with you on your journey. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University in 2025 and hold my APC in Georgia. I’m a therapist and artist who’s passionate about helping people come back to themselves and find healing. Outside the therapy room, you’ll find me making music, attending art markets, traveling, or playing with my cat.
I hold space for teens and young adults on a journey of self-acceptance. I’m especially passionate about supporting folks who've internalized harmful narratives, those shaped by systems not built for our sustainability, and those navigating anxiety and holding pain that stems from constantly having to adapt, perform, or hold it all together.
Through therapy, we can unravel those stories, explore what’s true for you, and begin to imagine and live from a place of authenticity.
Our time together is centered on you, your voice, your pace, and your unique needs. Each session is shaped collaboratively, guided by what feels supportive and meaningful in the moment.
I believe you’re the expert in your own life, so we go at your pace, and I meet you exactly where you are. My approach is non-judgmental, non-directed, casual, and collaborative. I also hold space that honors your autonomy, culture, and lived experience, while gently inviting exploration, creativity, and curiosity.
Our work together might look like doodling or writing to express your feelings, curating playlists or making music that speaks to your mood, engaging in somatic practices to reconnect with your body, or simply holding space in conversation without pressure. We’ll also explore tools to help build meaningful community, show up in relationships more authentically, and feel empowered in your self and with others. Together, we’ll explore what healing looks like for you, using familiar practices for you that feel natural and meaningful.
